To bring Apple, Inc. into the community, Hendricks County Economic Development Partnership will offer multiple incentives and resources including the following:
Personal Property Tax Abatement
Hendricks County will offer aggressive tax abatement opportunities to support and encourage investment. This project has the potential to gain support for a seven-year standard personal property abatement, but not exceeding the life of the equipment. With an investment of $83,502,855 in personal property, Hendricks County estimates the seven-year abatement would result in $1,668,442 in personal property savings.
Hendricks County will provide training dollars up to $500,000 on a reimbursement basis.
Unique to Hendricks County, HCN provides connections to the expertise, programming, and resources of 16+ colleges and universities located within 60 miles of the county. Through HCN, the project can access degree and certification programs ranging from GED to Ph.D. and everything in between. HCN can connect the project with onsite training providers for anything from basic computer skills and customer service to more complex industry-specific programs including supervision and leadership programs.
